A social group will celebrate it's first birthday with an exhibition.

Tring University of the Third Age (U3A) now has 200 members who have enjoyed a range of activities over the last 12 months.

The group, which holds monthly meetings with guest speakers, welcomes anyone who is retired or semi-retired.

Members have this year visited Kew Gardens, toured the Houses of Parliament and went to see Les Miserables in London.

Councillor Derek Townsend, a Deputy Lieutenant for Hertfordshire, will attend the exhibition on Thursday, December 11 at the Red Cross Hall in Faversham Close, Tring. It will run from 10am to midday.
