Saracens secured a 23-6 win over Worcester Warriors in terrible conditions at Vicarage Road on Sunday in the eighth round of the Guinness Premiership.
Sarries welcomed back their Pacific Islanders trio, with Kameli Ratuvou marking his return with a try.
After Glen Jackson had missed an easy penalty attempt and scored another to put Saracens three points head, Warriors full-back Chris Pennell pl
aced a long clearance kick down-field.
Man of the Match Alex Goode caught the ball in his own half and set off on a mazy run through the confused defence. As he was closed down he found flank Andy Saull in support who did not quite have the legs to make the line.
Saull drew the last defender before flicking the ball to Ratuvou on his shoulder who slid over the line for the first try of the day.
Jackson missed the conversion.
Minutes later the men in black were under pressure with Worcester's Dale Rasmussen bursting through the midfield but the big centre slipped just short of the try-line.
Sarries infringed at the subsequent ruck and Pennell secured the three points to reduce the deficit.
Pennell scored a further three points minutes later from the halfway line before the turning point of the game - the visitors going down to 14 men.
Goode made an excellent clearance kick from his own half but was taken out late by Sam Tuitupo who was immediately sin binned by referee Sean Davey.
Jackson again missed the following penalty soon after completed a loop-around from a 5-metre scrum to touch down in the corner. The New Zealander missed converting his own try.
Jackson, who is the Premiership top points scorer, slotted an easy penalty two minutes into the second half to increase the lead before Pennell missed his own attempt.
Saracens had plenty of opportunities to increase their lead but were lacking shape and penetration in attack.
Andy Farrell was replaced by South African Bradley Barritt, and the young centre made his presence almost straight away as he powered through a slim gap on the Worcester line to score his first try for Saracens, with Jackson landing the conversion to finish off the scoring at 23-6.
Saracens' defence was evidently helped by the advice of World Cup winning Coach Jake White this week but in attach Sarries still lack a cutting edge.
The squad's youngsters again came out strongly and despite a wobbly scrum and failing to secure a bonus point the men in black put in a good showing.
Saracens face 11th-placed Wasps at Adams Park on Saturday and will be hoping to secure a win over the struggling champions.
