Kings Langley lie on the fringes of promotion from Division Three of the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League after a narrow win over Hemel Hempstead II on Saturday.

Abbots Langley's prospects look a little brighter after their 99 run win over Hatfield while Potters Bar II bettered Northchurch's total of 212 without the loss of a single wicket.

Hemel Hempstead III escaped the bottom three in Division Six by thrashing Totteridge Millhillians III. A third wicket stand from Sam Greenwood (69) and Andy Still (55) put Hemel in a commanding position which their opponents could not match.

They take on relegation rivals Boxmoor this weekend, the third from bottom-placed team having lost to Hitchin II on Saturday.
Abbots Langley II, who look to be safe from the drop, beat St Margaretsbury by seven wickets.

Great Gaddesden continue to dominate Division 11, while Berkhamsted III still have their sights set on promotion from Division 12 following a good victory over Tewin II.
