Firefighters in Kings Langley rescued a deer after it got stuck in a ditch in Chipperfield.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue were called at 11.15am on Sunday, October 4, to a report of a deer stuck in a ditch between two garages in Chipperfield.

The crew from King’s Langley attended and released the animal safely in around 20 minutes.

The crew, and all of Herts Fire and Rescue stations were kept busy yesterday (Sunday) with the flooding caused by the rain from Storm Alex.
