Man found dead in canal is named
A man whose body was found in a canal has been officially named by the county coroner.
Roger West, 68, was found in the Grand Union Canal in Cow Roast at around 8am on Saturday, October 17.
Emergency services were called to the scene but paramedics were unable to revive Mr West.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An inquest into his death will be scheduled in due course.
