Man arrested and charged over sexual assault

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a sexual assault in Hemel Hempstead.

Stefan Padure, from Windmill Road, Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of kidnap.

This is in connection with a report of an incident which took place between midnight and 3am on Monday, March 28th in Belswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead.

Padure appeared at Hatfield remand court on Saturday, April 9 and has been remanded to appear at Luton Crown Court on Tuesday, May 10 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
