Police want to return the luxury items to their rightful owner

Police have launched an appeal to return jewellery, believed to have been stolen in Hemel Hempstead, back to their rightful owners.

This morning (4 May) Hertfordshire Constabulary has posted images of jewellery recovered to its police station last weekend.

It is believed that both items, a pair of earrings and a necklace, were stolen.

Hertfordshire police took the items on Saturday (29 April) whilst arresting a 41-year-old man from Three Rivers.

He was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, criminal damage and possession of a class C drug.

Since the arrest at the weekend the man has been released on bail while the investigation continues.
