Teenager charged over cabbie stabbing

Police have charged a teenage boy in relation to an attack on a Hemel Hempstead taxi driver.
The 17 year-old from Hemel Hempstead will appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 1 for a plea and case management hearing.

The teenager, who is currently in custody, is charged with wounding with intent and attempted robbery.

Millennium Cabs driver Jamil Hussain, 36, was stabbed twice on Chaulden Way at around 4am on Friday, April 25.

He was taken to Hemel Hempstead Hospital with stab wounds to his shoulder and was released later that day.
