The next exhibition at The Old Town Hall Gallery Bar, on from September 6 to 28, will give some inspiration for decorating your home.
Interior design art works by Tracy Lowe, from Potten End, will be on display in her first solo exhibition.
Her striking large scale canvases and paintings demonstate her trademark bold colours and stunning effects that add the wow factor to her commissions.
The mother of three began painting as a form of therapy after giving birth to her twins and discovered she had a natural talent for creating contemporary pieces.
She said: "I started about 10 years when I had just done my kitchen in unusual colors and couldn't find any art work to accompany it so I thought I would do it myself. When my friends and family saw the art works they asked me to create pieces for them. Word of mouth brought in more work and then last year I began doing it professionally."
The artist, who has had no formal training, enjoys experimenting with interesting techniques and textures.
Much of her current works are acrylic on chunky canvas, which gives them a fresh, modern feel.
Her commissions can now be seen in homes and businesses around the country and as far away as Spain and Turkey.
She has works on display and for sale in Martins Pond gastro pub, in Potten End, Neil's Kitchen, in Tring, and Cohesion interiors store, in Berkhamsted. They range in price from £70 to £250.
